It's no secret that despite being a true American conservative, I have no use for Sarah Palin. I don't understand why so many conservatives do, because she's an embarrassment. Do we really want those idiot liberals thinking that she represents women like me? Women who knew who Margaret Thatcher was before she was plucked from obscurity, who wouldn't shame themselves on national TV unable to answer basic policy questions, and who don't even realize the basic location of Russia? (Hey, I'm in New York; did you know I can see Portugal from my kitchen window?)
Fortunately, my hard-nosed take-no-liberal-crap flag-wavin' Tea Party-Hearty friend Danny A. down south sent me an article showing that the GOP is finally beginning to realize the ugly truth: That Sarah Palin could very well snag the Republican nomination in 2012, and that she's such a ditz even Commiebama could beat her.
Guy, we are going to SMEAR the socialists tomorrow!!! (Or you will anyway...I can't vote in 2010 yet.) By the time the smoke has cleared from the devastated skeleton of liberal Commies' ugly socialist dreams, we will RECLAIM AMERICA and bring it back to the glory days of 2007! Or better yet, 1982, when the Reagan Rainbow swept across America! And yea, all across Liberal Land there was weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth, because lo, the Angel of Reason had spoken and he said, "It is time for us to realize that we're too great a nation to limit ourselves to small dreams."
Pardon me, I digress. I just get all oogly inside every time I quote Ronald Reagan. The point is, Why, exactly, are we fighting one of our greatest victories by putting in a sure-fire loser for the next feddie election?
And the fact is, Sarah Palin is no Great Communicator - she's more like the Great Discombobulator. (Not to be confused with Schwarzenegger's Terminator, Jon Stewart's Conflictinator, or Pee Wee Herman's Masturb--uh, never mind.)
If we can't have Condi Rice, who seems not the slightest bit interested in saving our country from itself, maybe we can have someone like her.
But not, for the love of God or Darwin, Sarah Palin. Come on, people, admit it. We really screwed the caribou on this one.
